Terms of use
Free to use, offered as-is, and your files remain entirely your own.
Using noupload.tools means accepting what follows. It is short because the site does very little on your behalf: it sends you a program, and your browser runs it.
What the service is
This site delivers static pages and a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg to your browser. The processing happens on your device, using your processor and memory. No file you open with a tool here is transmitted to this site or to anyone else, and there is no server-side component capable of receiving one. That is described in detail on how it works.
Your files and your rights in them
You keep every right you had in your media. Nothing here claims a licence over it, because nothing here ever receives it. Equally, no copy is retained, so this site cannot recover a file for you and cannot be served with a request for one.
What you agree not to do
- Process material you have no right to process, including content that infringes someone else's copyright.
- Use the tools to produce material that is illegal where you are, or that sexualises minors, or that is intended to harass or deceive a specific person. The face blurring, background removal, text overlay and voice tools in particular can be misused this way, and doing so is a breach of these terms as well as, in most places, of the law.
- Represent the output of the age estimate or explicit-content check as a reliable determination about a real person. Both are statistical models with meaningful error rates and neither is fit for moderation, verification or any decision that affects somebody.
- Attempt to attack, overload or interfere with the servers that deliver these pages.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind. Media processing is lossy, encoders have bugs, browsers run out of memory, and a long job can fail near the end. Keep your originals. Check the output before you rely on it. Nothing here should be the only copy of anything.
The transcription and image models are approximate by nature. Treat a generated transcript as a draft to be read, not as a record.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not liable for lost data, lost time, corrupted output, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Because the tools run on your machine, the practical risks are the ordinary ones of running any software locally, and they are yours to manage.
Third-party software and services
FFmpeg and the other open source projects this site depends on carry their own licences, set out on the licenses page. Advertising is served by Google and is governed by Google's own terms and privacy documentation. Model weights for the speech and image tools are fetched from Hugging Face on first use, as described on the privacy page.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page. Substantive changes to what happens to your data would be noted on the privacy page rather than made quietly.
